Army & I brought Vera to see the 3D version last night, the 3D was okay I guess.. but that didn't make the movie.  Bolt was just a really funny & heartfelt Disney movie.  I highly recommend it and also dog lovers should go see it too!

*Finally* got Army these in black.  I think the Gap Straight Fit pants are the best looking pants on Army ever, he has a few of them already and we usually try to get them on sale cuz they're like $50+ otherwise.  I got these for like $25.  Army will not buy any other dress pants after having these, I won't allow him to. hehe  With the exception of the Express Producer pants, those look nice on him too.. slightly long though.

And for myself, this is a top to wear at work.  $14, and it was *almost* more than I wanted to spend on it.  Original price is $40 though.

And a Tartan Plaid Holiday dress for Avani.  $25, reminds me of Ralph Lauren.

I gotta think about it, Dell's return policy is only 21 days.  I don't mind paying like an extra 50 or so dollars for HD.  The much larger resolution is gonna be awesome for watching videos of the kids on TV.  And to be able to shoot in cinematic widescreen with that tiny thing... dang..

Well I had like $35 left on my Sephora gift card and thought what better time to use it than now with all these discounts available.  So I *tried* not to over spend and keep things under $100.  The total before the f&f promo and my gift card was $137 but it got knocked down to $72.85 PLUS I'll be getting $10 back through ebates and another 8% cash back, so it dwindles down to around $55... not bad for $137 worth of goodies.  And I *FINALLY* got a Shu Uemura eyelash curler that I've been wanting for years *squeals*... and I decided to also splurge on a pricey name-brand microdermabrasion product, since I think microdermabrasion scrubs are the best exfoliants I've ever used... and I wanna see how a tiny $75 jar compares to the $10 stuff from eBay.  It's probably very similar, but I just wanted to treat myself.  So here's what I got:

Today at work everyone was hooked up with new computers.  It was Windows Vista with the new Intel Core 2 processor, but I was still skeptical that it would speed up our IVIS program.. my co-workers thought it would help a lot though.  But I dunno, my computer experience told me it was the program that was slow to start with, not the computer.  And lo and behold, I was right... still slow at saving data.  Computer upgrade didn't do much of a helpful difference, it just started up faster.  And they added a nice log on wallpaper.. of DC with beautiful cherry blossom trees.  The thing that sucks is after you log on, it disappears and you're left with a "blue screen" blue wallpaper to look at, how lovely.  Well the cherry blossoms had reminded me of an event in DC called the Cherry Blossoms Festival, that I'm just longing to go to.  I first heard about it this year, and of course, after it was over.    And I really, REALLY want to go next year. But it's an 8 hour drive and I'd like to be able to go without the kids so I can relax and focus on taking pictures.  And cherry blossom trees just seems so hopelessly romantic, and I'd love to be able to enjoy the sights with my love.  If we do have to bring the kids, we might as well bring the grandparents along to help babysit. 

Well I'm gonna go do some laundry, dishes & help Vera with her vocab words.  Army should be home before 10pm and since I don't have to work tomorrow... we're going to make some Kamikazes! yum, my fav.  And watch Chuck & Heroes too, hopefully... and I gotta shower!

Just a couple shots taken last night.  I think it does pretty well at night, I just wish it had a light... or better yet, night vision. hehe

So fast, I just ordered it 3 days ago.  Here's the first shot taken with it.  The video quality is actually very good but Xanga compresses the quality a lot after upload, so I uploaded the video to Vimeo instead, which downgrades the quality too.. but not as much as Xanga.  And Vimeo is really neat!

I really LOVE the Flip Mino, it's the neatest little thing ever and VERY easy to use... the sound quality is amazing.  The camcorder is tiny like a cellphone but has video quality better than most cellphones.  And there's no way that there can possibly be an easier camcorder to use!

And here's another one!  Cooper got his first grooming today!

I will greatly miss my shaggy Cooper, I know his fur will grow back, but it will never be the same!    All he needed was a little grooming around the eyes and muzzle... and other parts.  But I didn't want all his natural wavy baby fur to be shaved away! *waaaaaaaaa*
