  • Eye Makeup How-To: Sexy eyes in less than 10 minutes

Here’s a quick & easy eye makeup tutorial with tips.  Sorry, I did not take a before picture with the contacts.

    • You’d want to start off with clean & moisturized skin.  And since I have dark eye circles, I used a concealer all around my eyes (under eyes, entire eyelid, and around the inner and outer corners).  You’d want to try to keep it as natural looking as possible and blend the edges outwards.  I used Bobbi Brown Corrector in Dark Peach, which I highly recommend.
    • Now apply your foundation if you’d like.
    • Next using a black eyeliner, one that is soft but stays put– it’s time to tightline.  You may also use a black gel liner.  Tightlining is “an eye lining technique used to emphasize your eyes and make your lashes look thicker and longer. Instead of putting the liner above the lash line, the liner is applied underneath the lash line for a more natural look.”  I used MAC Pearlglide in Black Line because it glides on easily and stays put most of the day.  DO NOT put any of this black liner above the top lash line.  Line the entire waterline and below the lashes, top and bottom and you can smudge a little bit on the outer corner.  On the lower lashes, you may go slightly below the waterline.
    • This next step is optional.  Using a bronzy or even colored eyeliner, draw a thin line on the top lashline and smudge the outer corner.  I am wearing MAC Eye Kohl liner in Teddy.
    • And the final step is to apply mascara.  You can curl your lashes if you’d like.  I skipped the curling and applied 3 coats of a heavy duty mascara.  I have short and straight lashes, but 3 coats of Dior Diorshow Iconic does a nice job.  Make sure you get all the lashes on the outer and inner corners.  And the bottom lashes are A MUST.
Hope y’all enjoy these tips.  More easy eye looks to come!
