  • FU "em" dash!

    WhyTF don't they have a key for the "em" dash on the keyboard.  I call it, "the long dash".  I'm not even 100% sure how to properly use the "em" dash but whenever I think I'm in a writing situation that requires an "em" dash, I end up using a comma instead or revising it somehow.  From now on, I'm just going to use this freakin squiggly~ because it's on the keyboard~ and it's cute.  And it's so grammatically incorrect~ I love it.

    Makeup:

    •  Blush or Bronzer?

    I use both almost everyday.  But I'll sacrifice a bronzy glow for some pretty cheek color.

    •  Lip gloss or Lipstick?
    I am a lipstick junkie.  I generally don't like glosses because most are too sheer for me and the opaque ones looks too gnarly.  I do occasionally wear them over lipstick but I hate the gooeyness.  And since I often like to drive with my windows rolled down... errr.

    • Eye Liner or Mascara?

    Mascara all the way.  I'm obsessed with gorgeous lashes.

    •  Foundation or Concealer?

    Foundation to even out my skin-tone.  Won't cover the dark eye circles though.  

    • Neutral or Color Eye Shadow?

    Neutral.  I can't imagine wearing colored eye shadows everyday.   That would also take more work.

    •  Pressed or Loose Eye Shadows?

    "UGH! I despise loose eye shadows. Their so messy and I find that I don't reach for them at all. The only time I use mine is when I press them myself. Other then that, I steer clear of loose shadows."  Ditto to that!

    •  Brushes or Sponges?

    Brush.  Although I've been using a sponge lately for some foundations and tinted moisturizers.

    Nails:

    • OPI or China Glaze?

    Sorry.  Gotta give a shout-out to Cult Nails because I won 5 nail polishes from them and they're amazing!

    • Long or short?

    My nails break all the time.  I wish I had pretty nails like Temptalia.  They're perfect!

    • Acrylic or Natural?

    Acrylics are lovely but I don't have the time or money for that...

    • Brights or Darks?

    I'm actually just starting to *try* to wear polish.  I tend to have a liking for girly colors and stuff with dimensional flakes.

    • Flower or No Flower?

     Yea, come draw it for me.

    Body:

    • Perfume or Body Splash?

    Perfume.  But I have a couple of great splashes I use from time to time.  Bath & Body Works 'Black Amethyst' smells very similar to my all-time favorite perfume~ Dior Poison.

    • Lotion or Body Butter?

    Lotion in the summer and body butter in the winter.

    • Lush or Other Bath Company?

    I haven't really gotten into bath products.  I've been using Olay Total Effect Body Wash with an exfoliating cloth and that works well.  But I'd like to find something better... something that'll exfoliate my stretch marks away. lol

    Fashion:

    • Jeans or Sweat Pants?

    Jeans.  Who wear sweat pants for Fashion? hehe

    • Long Sleeve or Short?

    Depends on the weather.

    • Dresses or Skirts?

    I am a dress whore.  

    • Stripes or Plaid?

    Gingham.  

    • Flip Flops or Sandals?

    I use to think they were the same thing.... I don't wear flip flops anymore.  All about cute & sexy sandals!

    • Scarves or Hats?

    I usually only wear scarves in the winter time.  I love me some cool hats.

    • Studs or Dangly Earrings?

    That's a tough one for me.  So I'll pick hoops.

    • Necklaces or Bracelets?

    "Definitely necklaces. I literally have thousands. Any ideas on how to store them. I got some ideas from subscribers but none of them would work with thousands of necklaces." @hawaiianxangel  Girl, get yourself a tree with lots of branches. Damn, that's a lot of necklaces.  I prefer them also but I only have like a dozen.

    • Heels or Flats?

    Heels, but I wear flats often too.

    • Cowboy Boots or Riding Boots?

    Now is this a trick question?    Riding boots are cute but I'm obsessed with cowboy boots, I'd wear them all the time if I could...

    • Jacket or Hoodie?

    Depends on if I'm going to Florida or not...

    • Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe?

    Forever 21 has a much better selection but you'll be there twice as long to find the good stuff.

    • Abercrombie or Hollister?

    Abercrombie.  I like their stuff but I don't shop there.

    • Saks 5th or Nordstrom?

    LOVE Nordstrom Rack.

    Hair:

    • Curly or Straight?

    Straight.  But I love waving out my hair.  

    • Bun or Pony Tail?

    Bun on lazy days.

    • Bobby Pins or Butterfly Clips?

    Bobby pins for some cute styling.

    • Hair Spray or Gel?

    Neither, but I do use a ton of mousse.

    • Long or Short?

    I love sexy long hair.

    • Light or Dark?

    I guess I couldn't decide since my hair is ombre right now.

    • Side Sweep Bangs or Full Bangs?

    I wish I can rock bangs.

    • Up or Down?

    Down. But it's up 1/2 the time.

    Random:

    • Rain or Shine?

    <3 The sunshine.

    • Summer or Winter?
    I live in Maine and summer is a nice treat.
    • Fall or Spring?
    Spring Love

    • Chocolate or Vanilla?
    Chocolate addict.
    • East Coast or West Coast?
    East coast baby.

    I think sometime this weekend I'll need to figure out how to transfer everything to my comp so I can organize them. I'm thinking maybe I'll also create an album on Xanga for all my mobile memories.

  • Random thoughts to get me through the workday...

    We all know that the situation in Syria is horrific.  I read a comment the other day saying something like, "imagine if a group of rebels tried to take down the U.S. government."  Not to make light of the situation in Syria, but thinking about a group of Rebels trying to take down the U.S. government gave me some funny visuals.

  • 2 year olds in 2012.

    Army just msged me this pic of our fat boy, Nico.

  • Exhausted

    Boy, working from 7am-7pm and then having to tend to a one year old and a two year old (among other things) when I get home is just... shocked  And no, @Elizabethmarie_1, I'm not complaining!  I'm just sayin'!  *Goes to make a mug of coffee.*
