(Blogged yesterday.)  So that’s the date.  I never ever thought that I would have a wedding after marriage.  I kinda always thought it was taboo or “not as special” but Army kept suggesting it and saying it was “Ok”… that I didn’t have to worry about a thing and he always wanted me to have my dream wedding.  So that’s why we decided that we’re going to do it and we picked our 10 Year Anniversary, which should be plenty of time for us to save up enough money to have that dream wedding… it’s like 7 1/2 years from now.  But I can hardly wait.    It’ll be sort of a winter theme wedding with tons of content to symbolize a 10 Year Anniversary, which they call it “Tin.” lol  Why can’t it be Silver, Diamond, Gold or Pearl!?  But, that will come one day.    Some symbolic things for a Tin Anniversary are aluminum, daffodils, diamonds, blue sapphire…  So picture a white wedding with shades of silver/metallic, crystals and poppin blue sapphire.  The bridesmaid dresses will definitely involve a rich deep blue and/or a silver/metal color.  To me, it’s all about the DETAILS.  Everything will be intricate… awe-inspiring.  I’m not about simple when it comes to my wedding.  I want it to be grandiose, in every single way.  I’m pretty sure that even my wedding dress will be full of embellishments.

I love that show Say Yes to the Dress on TLC.  Maybe I’ll go to Kleinfeld in NYC to get my dress.  We were actually suppose to go to NYC today but Avani has been sick with a fever since yesterday.  :o (  We’ll probably go next weekend.  The girls are really excited to go to that big Toys R Us in Times Square again.

Okay, that’s enough blogging for one day.  I’ll leave you with some dresses.  I think they’re all Kenneth Pool dresses except for the last one by Vera Wang.  I am a sucker for a ball gown silhouette!

  • I like your style and ideas!!! I bet your wedding will be awsome!

  • I think that’s great to get to plan your perfect wedding and save up the money to do it. It will be a celebration of your 10 years of life together already, with your children, and more to come. Very cool. I love the theme and colors. That Vera Wang dress is amazing.
